THE WEDDING

Dear friends and family
On June 6 we celebrated our mountain wedding on Muottas Muragl followed by the wedding party at the hotel Castell in Zuoz. Thank you very much for joining us in the Engadin sometimes traveling from very far. It was a privilege for us that you were with us during that special moment.
It was a perfect day in the mountains, we experienced rain, wind & even sun during the uphill and on top of the world... more snow during the dinner added to the romantic atmosphere, the kids (and some adults) enjoyed the snowball throwing later in the evening....
We would like to thank you all, especially Edgar & Reto, Joyce & Regula for your friendship, the funny acts (including the wedding spoon, we might starve using it..) and the lovely & professional organization of the performances & gifts. We were touched by the music played by Ulla, Gernot and their families and will always remember your beautiful performance. Our lady & lord of the rings Hannah & Gerhard were fantastic, the pillows with the rings absolutely beautiful. We will also never forget Kuni’s poem & violin concert, it was amazing. The journey through our lives to the middle & far East and back illustrated by the Beck & Keller family was very funny & original. Arielle & Felipe’s sweet wishes will accompany us a very long time and make us remember our friendship. We thank DJ Alexander for creating the ambience & making us dance (sometimes wild), the team of the hotel Castell and Muottas Muragl for their great hospitality
Franzi, Leo & Peter’s sportive wedding exam was funny (yet exhausting) and allowed us to prove we are ready for the marriage. Constant, your video allowed all of us to experience the mountain run/bike event. It was so much fun watching it, we will make sure to post it on the website...thank you also for providing us with Fresubin& Sacher on our climb. Chapeau to all the runners & bikers & dog Tommy who made it up the mountain in time for the ceremony....Last but not least we thank Christian Wermbter for the wonderful and very relaxed wedding celebration on Muottas Muragl. A special award goes to the tent for withstanding the wind and not breaking down or flying away ;-)
We really love the wedding book that you all prepared together, it will accompany us for the rest of our lives and bring back wonderful memories of you and the wedding. Thank you again for the thoughtful gifts, we look forward to enjoying them in the coming months, some of them forever. Thanks so much!

Civil wedding

Dear friends,
yesterday the first chapter of the wedding story was written.....
our civil wedding took place in Zurich on May 2nd
and our witnesses proved very worthy of our trust...
Ulla & Martin got up extra early to make sure we had brideflowers
(so Dagi could relax (??!!) & Markus could go biking with Alex&Mirko in the rain..)
Annette, Simon & Franzi got stuck in a traffic jam on the highway from Chur. During several phone calls no progress was reported..
eventually they decided, the car was not good enough....
cheered by the passengers in the waiting cars (supplied last minute with the indispensable passport by Annette) Franzi got out of the car and jogged down the highway a few kilometers in his best suit arriving at the wedding pavilion just in time.....
that’s why they are OUR BEST WOMAN & MAN....
once we had everyone assembled, the rest of the day went very smooth... just check out the pictures
We now look even more forward to our celebration in Zuoz.... there are still open spaces for the run with the bride and the best man....

Preparation weekend

Dear friends,
this weekend we spent in Zuoz et al doing some preparations for the wedding celebration in line with Dagi’s masterplan...
we made good progress: menu selection, bride flower bouquet, downhill test of bike&run track (with a sledge) etc
Weather was perfect, cross country tracks as well in case you are planning any late season xcountry skiing.
We will post some pictures, so you can see how beautiful a place the Engadin is when the weather is nice...
so let’s keep our fingers crossed..
